At this time Odyssey accepts the following insurance: Medicaid, Caresource, Peachstate, Amerigroup, Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna. For clients without insurance, we have the Odyssey Payment Plan. 

Odyssey serves all patients regardless of ability to pay.  Discounts for essential services are offered based on family size and income.  Please contact us for more information.

Mental Health-offered to individuals 18 and older who may be experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, such as:

  • Depression or anxiety
  • Traumatic experiences or grief
  • Trouble adjusting to new situations
  • Relationship problems
  • Managing anger
  • Prenatal and Postpartum depression

The Mental Health Services offered are:

  • Behavioral health assessments
  • Individual therapy & family therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Psychiatric services & medication management
  • Marriage or couples counseling
  • Anger management classes

Substance Abuse-offered to adults 18 years and older

  • Adult Substance Abuse Program – Guides clients through an abstinence‑based program following the American Medical Association’s definition of addiction as a chronic, progressive, primary illness. Our clients are typically in the early stages of substance abuse and may have experienced a legal problem which led them to seek services from Odyssey. We offer a range of outpatient services designed to meet the needs of each individual client and referral source.
  • Black Health Empowerment Initiative – Odyssey has partnered with the Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition to develop the Black Health Empowerment Initiative (BHEI). BHEI services are confidential and are provided at no cost through a research grant for African Americans who identify as LGBTQ and/or engage in same‑sex practices. The program consists of substance abuse education and treatment which includes individual counseling, support groups, and linkages to HIV, Hepatitis testing and PReP.

  • Depression or anxiety
  • Traumatic experiences or grief
  • Trouble adjusting to new situations
  • Managing anger
  • Self-Harming
  • Behavioral Problems
  • Low Self Esteem

The Mental Health Services offered are:

  • Behavioral Health Assessments
  • Individual therapy & family therapy
  • Group Counseling
  • Psychiatric services & medication management
  • School Based– Many children with behavioral or mental health problems are already struggling in school and cannot take extra time outside of the school day for transportation to and from therapy. Odyssey staff works in partnership with school social workers, teachers, and administrators in a team approach to develop the most effective strategies for students, making it possible to address students’ mental health issues in the school environment. Our school based program is funded in part by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Department of Community Development CSP Program.   • Odyssey To Recovery – is a 6‑10 week abstinence‑based program and focuses on education about substance use and addiction. OTR clients are usually in the early states of experimenting with substances.
